Austin Royals Soccer

Welcome to Royals Soccer—where athletes grow in skill, character, and Christ-like leadership. Whether your child is just starting out or ready for high-level competition, Royals Soccer is a fun, faith-filled environment to improve, compete, and build friendships that last.

We play with purpose: to honor God with our gifts and encourage our teammates to do the same.

Who Can Play

We offer competitive co-ed soccer teams for:

• Elementary (4th–6th grade)
• Junior High (7th–8th grade)
• High School (9th–12th grade)
  Age eligibility is based on the student’s age as of September 1 of the current school year.

Elementary & Junior High

• Two co-ed teams per age level: Royals Black (A-Team) and Royals Purple (B-Team)
• Compete in the Austin Christian Athletic Association (ACAA) against other small private schools
• All teams are guaranteed a full game schedule with postseason tournament play
• Coaches assign A/B rosters after the first two weeks of practice
• Siblings are placed on the same team color for family convenience

Practice Schedule

• Pre-Season Camp: Jan 28 & Jan 30, 6:30–8:30 PM
• Regular Practices: Begin Feb 4, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6:30–8:30 PM
• Location: McMaster Field (101 WL Walden Rd., Georgetown)
  Must be registered by Jan 5 to attend pre-season camp

Games

• Begin Feb 23
• Held Monday or Tuesday evenings through April 27
• 7–8 games per team
• ACAA Tournament: April 27–30

High School

• Teams may include:
  • Varsity Competitive
  • Developing Team (if no separate girls' team)
  • Girls Team (if enough players register)
• Compete with private, homeschool, and recreational teams in Central Texas
• Participate in 1–2 tournaments per season

Tryouts

• Dates: November 4, 6, 7
• Time: 5:30–8:30 PM
• Parents must attend a meeting from 5:30–5:45 PM during at least one tryout day

Team Announcement & Registration Opens: November 10

Training Camp (Mandatory)

• Dates: Jan 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, 20, 21, 22, 23
• Time: 6:30–8:30 PM
• Location: McMaster Field

Regular Practices Begin

• Date: Jan 20
• Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Time: 6:30–8:30 PM
• Possible Games: Feb 6, 13, 20
• TAIAO Tournament: Feb 20–21
• BACH/Homeschool Tournament: Jan 31

Pickup Games

Come out and enjoy community and skill development during our free pickup games:

• Saturdays: 8:00–10:00 AM
• Location: McMaster All-Purpose or Soccer Field A

Dates:

• May 24, June 28, July 26, August 23, September 27, October 25

Registration

High School Tryout Registration:

• Open: October 15 – November 4

General Season Registration:

• Open: November 10 – January 5 (or until full)

What’s Included:

• 1 Royals game jersey
• 1 practice jersey
• 2–3 practices/week
• 7–15 games
• Possible tournaments

Cost:

• Elementary & Junior High: $225
• High School: $275

Athletes Provide:

• Black shorts and soccer socks
• Cleats and shin guards
• Water bottle
• Size 4 ball (Elementary) or Size 5 ball (JH/HS)
