Welcome to Royals Nation!
We are looking forward to the 2025-2026 season! As we enter year 20 as an organization, we hope you'd like to be a part of this historic season!
For any returning players, new to the sport or relocating, our program is designed to develop competitive basketball skills while nurturing faith, character, and community. Through weekly devotions, team prayer, and a season-wide service project, we pour into the hearts of our athletes as much as their game.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
OPEN GYM
Come join us during our Open Gym runs at The PAC. Thosel 4th-12th grade players interested in joining our basketball program this season are encouraged to play! This is a great way for new families to meet our returning families and also meet our Basketball Director and other coaches in attendance.
All players participating in the open gym must wear appropriate basketball attire.

2025 Season
Royals Basketball
High School Basketball (Grades 9–12)
Tryouts
Mandatory for all High School Boys
Dates: September 2nd and 4th 2025
Time: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Location: The Premier Athletic Complex (PAC), 8220 183A Toll Road, Leander, TX 78641
*All players must register to attend tryouts
Practices
High School has three practices per week.
Days: Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 AM
Location: The PAC, 8220 183A Toll Road, Leander, TX 78641
Early departures are permitted for those with class commitments. Please notify your coach in advance.
Games & Tournaments
Most games are played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and/or Fridays. Some Mondays may also involve games.
Local and out-of-town weekend tournaments start on Thursdays or Fridays and conclude on Saturdays.
Players are responsible for their own travel and food costs.
Optional Off-Season Practice – Girls & Boys
Months: April–July 2026
Who: High School players (Fall 2026)
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 AM
Location: The Premier Athletic Complex
Junior High & Elementary Basketball (Grades 4–8)
Season Dates
Start: Practice begins November 3, 2025
End: THSSBC State Tournament, February 5–7, 2026
Optional Off-Season Practice (Summer 2026)
Months: April–July 2026
Who: Elementary & Junior High players (Fall 2026)
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 AM
Location: The Premier Athletic Complex
Practices
Boys: Mondays & Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 AM
Girls: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 7:00–9:00 AM

Games & Tournaments
Most games: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays (late afternoon/evening)
Travel: Mostly local, one game in San Antonio, and a few up to an hour away
Tournaments:
- Junior High: 4–5 tournaments
- Elementary: 4–5 tournaments
All teams finish with the THSSBC State Tournament.
League Information
We are a proud Austin Christian Athletic Association (ACAA) member, competing against private and parochial schools throughout Central Texas. Learn more at: acaaathletics.org
ACAA Eligibility Guidelines
Elementary: Grades 4–6, not older than 12 by Sept. 1
Junior High: Grades 6–8, not older than 14 by Sept. 1
Athletes participating in High School JV or Varsity games are not eligible for ACAA JH or EL teams.
Registration & Fees
All participating players will be charged a registration fee of $75 at the time of registration.
- High School: $750
- Junior High: $550
- Elementary: $400
Volunteers & Coaches Needed
ARCA is a volunteer-run, parent-led organization. We rely on every family to contribute in some way to the program. Please prayerfully consider how you can get involved this season.
We are also looking for coaches and assistant coaches who are passionate about disciplining young athletes through competitive basketball. If that sounds like you or someone you know, let us know!
Sponsorship Opportunities
Do you own a local business or know someone who does? We are currently seeking sponsors to support our Basketball program. Sponsorships help us keep costs low for families and provide excellent facilities and equipment.
