Welcome to Royals Cheer—where spirit meets purpose and every cheer is backed by character, confidence, and Christ-centered leadership. As a growing part of the Austin Royals family, our cheer program is committed to building strong, encouraging athletes who lead from the sidelines with energy, integrity, and faith. Whether it’s rallying the crowd, supporting our teams, or growing through team prayer and connection, Royals Cheer is about more than routines—it’s about developing young women who shine for Christ in all they do.
Ages
We offer Cheer for the Varsity level for homeschool girls in grades 9-12.
*Eligibility is based on the student’s grade level as of September 1 of the current school year.
When
The Cheer season follows the Royals Football season and runs from late July through November.
Where
Monday practices are held at the Pflugerville location.
Tuesdays & Thursdays are held at McMaster Field.
Practices
Practices are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Games
Cheerleaders perform at Friday or Saturday football games
No tournaments are currently part of the cheer schedule
Travel for away games is expected, but they are typically day trips only, with no overnight stays
Jerseys
Registration Fee: $300
Uniform Fee: Separate from registration; includes all uniform pieces except shoes.
Uniforms are designed for multi-year use to reduce long-term costs.
Extra Costs
Additional costs include meals for away games and personal travel expenses for out-of-town games.

- 1–2 Assistant Coaches for Varsity
- Head Coach & Assistants for future Middle School/Elementary teams

Fall 2025
Austin Royals Cheer
Royals Cheer is a Christ-centered program designed to encourage, support, and lead with spirit both on and off the sidelines. Focused on building confidence, athleticism, and team unity, our cheerleaders bring energy and encouragement to the field while developing discipline, leadership, and lasting friendships. Whether you're shouting chants, learning routines, or uplifting your team, cheer is a powerful way to grow in Godly character and Christian community.
Who Can Join
Royals Cheer is currently offered at the Varsity level for homeschool girls in grades 9–12.

Season Timeline
- Season Runs: Late July through November
- Follows Football Schedule: Cheerleaders support Royals Football at games throughout the fall

- Mondays: 6:30–8:30 PM (Pflugerville location)
- Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6:30–8:30 PM (McMaster Field – 101 WL Walden Rd., Georgetown)

Volunteers
To help support game day operations, we ask that parents serve by working admissions at home games on a rotating basis.
