Spring 2026
Austin Royals Track & Field
Royals Track & Field is a dynamic and exciting program that allows homeschool athletes to develop their strength, speed, endurance, and athletic skills—all while competing in a Christ-centered environment. We focus not only on training athletes to excel in competition but also on building character, discipline, and teamwork through every practice and meet.
Who Can Join
Our Track & Field program is open to homeschool students in grades 5–12, with opportunities available for beginners and experienced athletes alike. The sport is divided into high school (9th–12th grade) and middle school (5th–8th grade). Whether you're a sprinter, distance runner, jumper, or thrower, there’s a place for you on the Royals Track & Field team.
What We Offer
This is a Christian discipleship-oriented sports program in which athletes participate in multiple events. We do not offer the option to participate in only a single event. All athletes must compete in at least one track event—no athlete may participate only in field events.
Athletes can compete in a variety of events, including:
- Sprints: 100m, 200m, 400m
- Distance Running: 800m, 1600m, 3200m
- Relays: 4x100m, 4x400m
- Field Events: Long Jump, High Jump, Shot Put, Discus
Our program emphasizes developing proper technique, improving physical conditioning, and instilling mental toughness, all while encouraging athletes to honor God through their efforts and attitudes.
